TRAINING WEEKEND 12/13TH FEBRUARY 2005
This years weekend was another success. Saturdays run was lead by local scout Paolo Brucciano who shows us every minor road to nowhere. Dinner stop was Coniston and the back via the Ferry and down the Lyth Valley onto the A6 with a burn up back into Morecombe. Showers.
Sunday
dawned bright and sunny with great views over the bay. By 10.00am it was
cloudy and by 10.15am it was snowing! The proposed ride over Barbondale
to Dent was changed and we went upto Sedburgh and dinner at Kirkby Lonsdale.
The ride back was over Capernwray and back to Morecombe avoiding the front
and the very strong winds.
