SPRING CLASSIC 40th edition

The Spring Classic will be held on the small Bashall Eaves circuit which is approx 4 miles all categories will cover 14 laps approx 56 miles. The event is a handicap and the Juniors and 4th cats will set off first with the rest of the field spread out over 8 1/2 minutes. Start time is 10.00am Sunday 24th Feburary. Changing rooms are Edisford Primary School, Edisford Road, Clitherow BB7 2LN which is situated just past Roefield Barn Sports Centre on the road into Clitheroe. The event now has a full field with only reserve places left.

Changing Rooms and Signing On are open from 9.00am. Clitheroe is sign posted from the A59, the headquarters are located approx 1 mile from Clitheroe town centre direction Bashall Eaves.
Directions from the North.
• Turn right off the A59 signposted Clitheroe (N)
• Turn left at roundabout onto Chatburn Road
• Turn right at next roundabout onto Well Terrace
• Go straight on at next roundabout
• Round bends to the left
• Continue with bus station on right hand side
• Go straight on at next roundabout, Booths on right hand side
• Turn right at next roundabout
• Edisford Primary School is on your left hand side.
Directions from the South.
• After short section of dual carriageway on A59 turn left at roundabout signposted Clitheroe
• Continue for 2-3 miles into the town
• Continue past Barkers Garden Centre
• Before arriving at a small roundabout turn left signposted Edisford Bridge
• Continue over railway crossing
• Go straight on at the crossroads
• Turn left at T junction
• Edisford Primary School is on your left hand side.

COURSE DETAILS
Field to line on the start line situated between Bashall Eaves and Hodder Bridge, proceed towards Hodder Bridge left M, then on B6243 left again M at junction with B6243, direction Low Moor left M towards Bashall Eaves complete 14 more laps and finish on unclassified road between Bashall Eaves and Hodder Bridge.
APPROX 56 MILES
All riders please note they will be a commissaire meeting 15 mins before the event start in the HQ. All riders must attend.
